و من الطرق أيضا للقضاء على الصراصير : عن طريق الأعشاب و ذلك باستخدام القليل من صودا الخبز و السكر و البودرة  ، ثم خلطهم ببعض و بعد ذلك رشهم كل أسبوع  و معها يجب غلق جميع منافذ الخروج للصراصير ، ثم وضع سلك دقيق الفتحات على النوافذ يساعد في عدم دخولهم إلى المنزل مرة أخرى . 

و هناك طريقة أخرى و هي وضع حبات الكافور أو قطرات من أبو الفاس و الفيكس الذي يحتوي على زيت الكافور في جميع الأدراج ، و أسفل الثلاجة ، و في الأماكن التي تتواجد بها الصراصير بكثرة  و في الحمام  ، و حتى تتجنبي تلك الصراصير الكريهة ينصح بالنظافة الدائمة باستمرار و غلق جميع المنافذ التي تساعد على دخول الصراصير مرة أخرى إلى منزلك .
